What is it all about?

I am a member of Free Methodist Church. Members have Bible study before the sermon. The beginning of worship begins with prayer and greeting. The sermon and the service ended with singing and prayer. One of my friends invited me to his church. I went once. During the service, people sang, rolled on the floor and talked about some kind of language. I was terrified so out. I ran away from the church. That was the scariest thing that has happened all me. What kind of religion or cult was that? I was shaking during the ride home.
