Sermon Series On Jonah

"It's the elegance that is powerful and subversive. Elegance in a world of vulgarity."-Vivienne Westwood.
"A city on a hill can not be hidden. "-Matthew 5:14 b (KJV).
The Christian equivalent of the above quote in elegance Jesus's Sermon on the Mount message to be salt and light to a broken world, confused – people seeking a spiritual home, but not knowing at all how to get there. Thus, rather than elegance, often still in its vulgarity. As the salt prevent cavities, as light pointing the way … (MO humility, not arrogance.)
This elegance is highlighted as "grace or beauty contained dignified style … a refined grace or dignified propriety." [1] It is another normal in the world (vulgar) way.
He is alone.
Elegance is irresistible.
It exudes charisma.
It evokes strange answers.
It brings both praise and criticism. Praise those who recognize and accept the truth and virtue. Criticism from personally threatened by the elegance. (Do not get carried away by these if you really know that we are running the will of God. In fact, they are often upset some if we are doing the will of God – takes courage to follow God truly.)
The purpose of a True elegance is, Christians all they do that shines far beyond what the world at large, waiting and waiting and so blatantly noticeable in the way all good, is to glorify God the Father. Failure to do so for our own glory but for God's – with a pattern like this, focused on him, we are bound to have a better chance of success.
It is our destiny over our past that defines us. [2] We have been sanctified for a reason, we are on the way for the rest of the trip like princes servant servant and princesses, sons and daughters of the Most High King. And a condition of royalty is public property. copyright should serve and lead by example. We are saved to serve – God directly, humanity, and possibly all of creation.
The light of a model Christian is persistent, but respectful of the unrepentant; a voice and a strobe light pointing the way home. It is a clear demonstration on how to deal in life, at maturity depends on what is right, fair and equitable.
We can only hope to be faithful to the lights of the world with salt potent when engaged with Jesus, and open to pros and reproach. That is a condition necessary for the journey to the elegance. We must remember that elegance is raw beauty about it.
