Don Johnson

Youth and Education
Johnson was born in Flat Creek, Missouri in 1949. His father was a farmer and his mother was a beautician. At 6 years moved to Missouri to Wichita, Kansas. Graduated in 1967 from South High School in Wichita, was involved in school theater program. In his senior year, played the role Main Tony in "West Side Story." His biography said he had already appeared in "burnt cork and Melody" and "Hullabaloo." He also attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.
In late 1960, Johnson was in a psychedelic rock band called Horses. Also in the band were the future members of the band Kingfish, which featured Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir. The band released a record label White Whale of the same name in 1969 and reissued Arts in the Fab label in 2004, then Rev-Ola label in 2005.
Johnson, news of interest that several sources have said in recent years has been kept out of the military reason for a high lottery number. He never had to serve, and indeed in a newspaprer artcile 1970, he said, would not even is so called because their beliefs at the time.

Interim
The early years
Johnson studied drama at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. His first major role was in the stage production 1969 in Los Angeles of Fortune and men's eyes in which he played Smitty, the lead role. This exposure resulted in quickly forgotten film The Garden Stanley magical love (1970). He continued working in theater, film and television without leaving the celebrity. His notable films from this period were Zechariah (1971), The Harrad Experiment (1973), Lollipop and Roses (1974), and a boy and his dog (1975).
Miami Vice
After years of struggle to establish itself as a television actor (in the price as the revenge of the Stepford Wives) and a string of drivers who do not were never followed by a reality TV series in September 1984, the luck changed when Johnson landed a starring role as Sonny Crockett in the police show Miami Vice. In this role, Johnson played a police detective secret. Usually wearing thousand dollar Versace and Hugo Boss suits in pastel cotton shirts, drove a Ferrari 365 GTS / 4 Daytona (actually a replica game in a 1981 Corvette chassis), followed by a Ferrari Testarossa and lived in a 42-foot (13 m) yacht with his pet alligator Elvis. "Miami Vice was noted for its revolutionary use music, movies and photos, and more dazzling in the genre of police drama.
Between seasons, Don Johnson has gained fame through TV miniseries several others, such as the 1985 TV remake of The Long, Hot Summer.
Nash Bridges
Johnson later starred in the 1996-2001 drama Nash Bridges with Cheech Marin, Jaime P. Gomez and Jodi Lyn O'Keefe. Johnson played the lead role Nash Bridges, a police detective in San Francisco. In Nash Bridges Johnson was again paired with a flashy convertible car, this time an electric yellow 1971 Plymouth Barracuda.
2000
In the fall of 2005, played briefly in the theater room WB television show Just Legal as a jaded lawyer with a very confident young and idealistic / partner (Jay Baruchel), the show was canceled in October 2005 after only three episodes aired. In January 2007, Johnson began racing in the West End production of Guys and Dolls London as Nathan Detroit.
Don Johnson also has a role in the Norwegian comedy Lange Flate Ballr 2 ("Long Flat Balls II"), directed by Johnson Zwart, Harald friend. Johnson made the film as a favor to Zwart. The film was released March 14, 2008 in Norway, Johnson made an appearance in the first. It then appeared in an orgy with Good Old Fashioned Jon Heder, when in Rome with Danny De Vito, Anjelica Huston, Kirsten Bell, and Machete with Robert De Niro and Steven Seagal.

Music
Johnson has released two albums of pop music in the 1980's, one in 1986 and another in 1989. His single "Heartbeat" the title song from her debut album, reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Johnson is also a good friend Willie Nelson. Previously, Johnson worked with Gregg Allman and Dickie Betts of the Allman Brothers, co-wrote the song "Blind Love" and "Can not Take It with You" with Dickie Betts which appeared on his 1979 album Enlightened Rogues.

Johnson had four different women in five marriages, three of which were short. Johnson has had an important supporting role in the experience Harrad (Published 1973), women head was Tippi Hedren. He met the girl Hedren, Melanie Griffith in the first half of 1972, was an uncredited extra. He had a relationship with Barbra Streisand, at least September 1988. Streisand and Johnson had been secretly betrothed to a point.He created with a single called "Until Loved You ", released this year. Johnson had a relationship with Jeanne Anderson in 1996.
On April 29, 1999, he married San Francisco socialite and former teacher Kelley Phleger preschool. He had a daughter and Phleger, Atherton Grace Johnson (born December 28, 1999), and two sons, Jasper Breckinridge Johnson (born June 6, 2002) and Deacon Johnson (born April 29, 2006)
Legal Issues
In 2001, a 36 year old woman accused Johnson of compression of drunkenness and bruises wrist and lewd propositions outside a San Francisco en Mas Sake restaurant, said while clutching his wrist firm, began to sing drunk "Heartbeat." Women friends made their way through the restaurant to deal with Johnson as he continued singing, but said when he saw them, dropped and quickly escaped through the back door. Johnson said, thinking of buying an ad in the San Francisco Chronicle to explain his version of events, but later decided to publish the notice in website. For lack of evidence, no charges were filed.
In November 2002, German customs officials Swiss-German border performed a routine Johnson car. Bank statements showing $ 8 billion in transactions were found in the trunk of his car. He was accompanied in his black Mercedes-Benz by three men: an investment adviser, a personal assistant, and a third of unknown identity. Initially it was thought Johnson was involved in money laundering, but acquitted of charges. After receiving word of the incident, German tabloids began exploiting and perpetuating the story, sometimes pointing to the irony (as perceived for them) that Don Johnson has frequently portrayed police officers acting in their works. Johnson explained that the incident saying: "I was met with some American businessmen in Zurich for the financing of a film fund that I put together for my company. They gave me some bank statements and resumes vitae and other documents, some things to show that investors can make. "[Citation needed] The police found and copy these documents and the history of money laundering have increased in some way there.
In May 2008, Johnson came just hours after losing his Woody Creek, Colorado, home to the closure, which has paid 14.5 million dollars in U.S. debt less than 24 hours before a planned auction of the property.
